As the road followed the edge of the water, we could follow this Wood sandpiper from "above" for quite some time. In the cloudy weather, the surface of the water was blackish and the whole picture acquired a tone of old black and white reproc´ductions - with the Wood sandpiper as the only colored exception.
Vi kunde följa denna grönbena "ovanifrån" en hyfsat lång stund eftersom vägen gick parallellt med strandkanten. I slutet var ljuset mycket speciellt. I det molniga vädret blev vattnet närmast svart och hela bilden skapade en känsla av svartvitt med grönbenan som enda färginslag.
