Three years ago I failed in photographing Chilean flamingos in the Paracs NP. This time it did not work out any better, to start with. The lookout point was still to far away from the birds. But my driver had an idea. There were also flamingos at another place. We went there and I cautiously walked out to the small lake. This time I was more lucky. I got a series of pictures, among them this one of a flock in motion.
För tre år sedan försökte jag, med magert resultat, att fotografera chileflamingos i Paracas nationalpark. Nu visade sig åter att utsiktsplatsen låg för långt från fåglarna. Men min chaufför hade en idé. Det fanns flamingos även på ett annat ställe. Vi åkte dit och jag gick försiktigt ut mot den lilla sjön och de tre grupperna av fåglar. Den här gången fick jag bättre bilder, bland annat den här på en flygande flock.
