This ovenbird is found in an s-shaped band across South America, from the north of the Amazon west to northern Peru, and then again east through Brazil. It is thus an adaptable species that here, in the mountain regions of Peru, has its westernmost extension. (I have previously photographed it in the Manu Park in the Peruvian Amazon).
Den här ugnsfågeln förekommer i ett s-format band tvärs över Sydamerika, från norra Amazonas västerut till norra Peru och därefter österut till Brasilien. Det är alltså en anpassningsbar art som här i bergstrakterna i Peru har sin västligaste utbredning. (Jag har tidigare fotograferat den i Manu-parken i peruanska Amazonas).
