The Indian house crow has, among other things, by hitchhiking with ships, established themselves in odd places like in Australia - and here in Zanzibar. It is omnivorous and eagerly awaits at e.g. colonies of Golden weavers if any egg falls out of the nests. Then it quickly emerges and devours the contents...
Den indiska huskråkan har, bl.a. genom att lifta med fartyg, etablerat sig på udda ställen som i Australien - och här på Zanzibar. Den är allätare och väntar gärna vid t.ex. guldvävarkolonier om något ägg faller ur boet. Då är den snabbt framme och slukar det...
