As we moved from Namibia, eastwards, into Botswana, the Red-eyed bulbuls (Pycnonotus nigricans) were replaced by the Dark-capped bulbul (the one in this picture). They behaved very similarly to their sister species to the west, and liked to sing in elevated positions, like in this photograph, from the top of the reeds, right next to the Okavango River.
Allt eftersom vi rörde oss från Namibia, österut, in i Botswana, så ersattes de rödflikiga bulbylerna (Pycnonotus nigricans) av de trefärgade (som vi ser på den här bilden). De betedde sig väldigt likt sin systerart i väster, och satt gärna och sjöng i upphöjga positioner, som här, alldeles invid Okavangofloden.
