This White-fronted plover obviously ate something sticky, because here, on the beach of the coastal town of Walvis Bay, it started to wash up meticulously... (This bird is unusually long-lived to be so small. It actually has a life expectancy of 11 years!)
Den här vitpannade strandpiparen har uppenbarligen ätit något kladdigt för här på stranden i kuststaden Walvis Bay så satte den igång att tvätta sig ytterst noggrannt... (Den här fågeln är ovanligt långlivad för att vara så liten. Den har nämligen en förväntad livslängd på 11 år!)
