Pipits are well camouflaged and sometimes difficult to discern in the grass. Yet, it ranks among the favorites of the photographer because they also sit quietly for long moments on poles or branches. The African or Grassveld pipit is no exception. It was probably one of the birds that I photographed the most times during my days in Kenya.
Piplärkor är väl kamouflerade och ibland svåra att urskilja i gräset. Ändå tillhör de fotografens favoriter eftersom de också sitter lugnt under långa stunder på stolpar och grenar. Den afrikanska piplärkan utgör inget undantag. Det var nog en av de fåglar jag fotograferade flest gånger under mina dagar i Kenya.
