The Galapagos mockingbird is one of four mockingbirds in the Galapagos, and it is the most widespread of the four species. It is a curious, cheeky bird that it is hard to avoid if you are visiting the islands. This bird shows the typical mockingbird behavior - to bob a little, to lift its tail - and sing, because it knows that craft too. It is actually one of the archipelago's most heard singers.
Galapagoshärmtrasten är en av fyra härmtrastarter på Galapagos och den mest spridda av de fyra. Det är en nyfiken, framfusig fågel som man har svårt att undvika om man besöker öarna. Den här fågeln visar det typiska härmtrastbeteendet - att knixa litet med lyft stjärt - och sjunga, för det kan den också. Den är faktiskt en av ögruppens mest hörda sångare.
