I first photographed a Galapagos flycatcher (also called 'Large-billed flycatcher') in the mangrove forest at Black Turtle Cove on the northern part of Santa Cruz island. But the next day I encountered this specimen in the middle of the town of Puerto Ayora. The Galapagos flycatcher is not a true 'flycatcher,' but the smallest representative of the Tyrannidae family - and endemic to the Galapagos Islands.
Jag fotograferade först en galapagostopptyrann i mangroveskogen vid Black Turtle Cove på norra Santa Cruz. Men dagen därpå träffade jag på det här exemplaret mitt inne i staden Puerto Ayora. Galapagostopptyrannen är den minsta representanten för familjen 'tyranner' - och endemisk för Galapagosöarna.
