Right on the beach, among rubbish that had been washed up from the sea, (probably reflecting the impact of the mega-city on the water), a Killdeer had made a nest and brooded on eggs. If you look closely, you can actually see two of the eggs under the body of the worried bird... (Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 70-300/4-5.6L IS USM).
På stranden, bland uppsköljt skräp från storstaden, hade en liten skrikstrandpipare gjort sig ett bo och lagt sig på ägg. Två av dem skymftar faktiskt under den oroliga fågeln.
