Common buzzard / Ormvråk

There is a bird species called 'Roadside hawk' (Rupornis magnirostris) that I have photographed a few times in South America. But if we were to give new names to all the birds species, this close relative, the Common buzzard, would be called precisely 'Roadside hawk'. This because today we usually see it sitting on a fence post or fence wire near a highway. Many Common buzzards have adapted to the motoring community and they have learned that along the routes, where vehicles run quickly, there are a variety of animals and birds being damaged or killed there, that is that it is easy to find prey.
